About the event
Course Overview:
Shirodhara is an ancient Ayurvedic therapy that involves pouring a continuous stream of warm oil on the forehead. This course aims to explore the benefits of shirodhara in the context of substance misuse and mental health recovery. Participants will gain an understanding of how shirodhara can complement traditional treatments for substance abuse and promote mental well-being.

6 days:
1 day training + 1 day clinical practise
Day 1 Theory & Practical
10am yoga, breath work & meditation (90mins)
11.30-1pm break
1-5pm learn shirodhara & complementary bodywork massage techniques
Day 2 Supervised Clinical Session
10am yoga, breath work & meditation (90mins)
11.30-1pm break
1-5pm working on real-life clients and patients who are on their road to recovery
Additional Notes:
- Shirodhara pots are available online from various stockists
- a pot to use after the event can be provided for an additional £100
- we will provide stands and oils and a pot to work with
- please bring as 6 large towels, the laundry will be provided each day
- if you are able to bring a massage table, please do! The more the merrier!
