About Me

Jambo Truong

The Dragon in Motion

I am a shape-shifting alchemist of wellness. I weave ancient wisdom with modern mastery and I have been doing it long enough to know the difference between what actually works and what just sounds good.

Equal parts mystic and scientist, I am the kind of teacher who can decode fascia like scripture, summon dakinis mid-flow, and teach biomechanics with the timing of a stand-up comic. If that sounds like a lot, it is. But it all makes sense in the room.

I was nineteen years old, on a reflexology course, and quietly dependent on medication for sciatica that nobody had actually fixed. One day I asked my teacher if she could help. She showed me one point on my foot and pressed it. It was excruciating. I went home and rubbed that point every day for two weeks. After two weeks every symptom was gone.

I was done waiting to be fixed by someone else. I have been doing it this way ever since.

My mother is Vietnamese. My father is Chinese. I was raised in the UK and I now live in Indonesia. I have never fully belonged to one world and I stopped trying a long time ago. What that gave me instead is the ability to move between all of them. Science and spirit. East and West. Classical lineage and lived transmission. The mat and the street. I hold all of it at the same time and I do not collapse into any of it.

That is not a skill I learned. It is a skill I survived into.

I spent years teaching back to back across the world. Workshops, trainings, intensives. Five day windows of rest that were really two days recovering and one day preparing for the next thing. I did not know where my body ended and the room began. I would carry the energetics of a group for days after they had gone home. I was very good at my work and I was quietly dissolving inside it.

I found my way back through sustained committed practice. Not protocols. Not programmes. Actual practice over actual time. That is what I teach.

My formal training spans both ends of the spectrum. I hold a BSc Hons in Integrated Health specialising in complementary medicine, and I have trained in acupuncture, Korean hand therapy, and moxibustion under Dr Jong Baik. My anatomical understanding was sharpened through years of study with Dr Kathy Dooley, one of the most rigorous anatomy educators alive. I read faces and bodies through the classical system of Lilian Bridges, and I apply kinesiology from multiple lineages to bridge structural and energetic assessment. Ana Forrest personally selected and trained me as one of her Guardians, a transmission rooted in deep somatic work, trauma informed sequencing, and the medicine of authentic movement.

My spiritual formation spans multiple living lineages, each transmitted through direct relationship with recognised masters. I am one of the heart sons of H.H. Prof Kharchen Wangchuk Rinpoche, serving as Global Regent of Kharchen Ling Sangha and Senior Teacher at Vajrayogini Dharma Centre in Malaysia. My Vajrayana training is rooted in classical methodology with an emphasis on practice integrity, lineage transmission, and embodied realisation. Within the Taoist tradition, I am a 31st generation student of Xuan Yang Tian Fa Men, initiated and trained under Dr Wilson Yong. I have also received formal recognition from H.H. Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji of Parmath Niketan, Rishikesh, one of India's most respected spiritual leaders.

Raised at the edges, I learned early how to blend structure with soul. My work with marginalised communities, local authorities, and people navigating trauma, pain, and addiction has shaped an approach that is as practical as it is profound. Deep spiritual teachings rooted in the messy, miraculous business of real life.

I question everything, protect lineage and integrity like a dragon guards treasure, and insist on embodiment before enlightenment.

Whether I am anchoring students in pelvic stability or guiding a global sangha through mantra, movement, and magnetism, my work is a living transmission. Tender, technical, and transformative.

These transmissions are not biographical footnotes. They are the living roots of everything I teach.

Welcome. You found the right place.
